Another Bad Decision By An Electoral College

The Church of England's General Synod today narrowly rejected allowing women bishops. Despite achieving the required majority in two of the three electoral colleges (of Synod houses) the proposal was defeated.

Hmmm, when was the last time a complex electoral college vote led to an idiotic choice that went against the majority of the electorate's wishes...
